Amsterdam is so much more than tulips, wooden shoes, red lights and green plants. All though these tourist attractions should be included when visiting this wonderful capital, I prefer a stroll alongside the beautiful canals, a few stops at one of the many bars with all of their wonderful types of beer, and perhaps a little shopping in the old town.
For the perfect day, start with Eggs Benedict at Gs, walk through the many narrow streets in the old part of the town, enjoy a French lunch with bubbles at Bistro Neuf, stop by Thijssen for a couple of beers, and then have an Asian dinner at A Fusion.
