Located in the historical Carlsberg City just outside the town center, Hotel Ottilia Copenhagen becomes a beautiful sanctuary with raw design, outstanding service and a unique experience.
Brøchner Hotels has once again managed to captivate our attention by creating something new from something old. And it works. The combination of this established, historical building with modern design and subtile luxury makes me not want to leave.
The rooms are clean in both style and standard, the beds are comfortable and switching out the old-school minibar with 24-hour room service works brilliant. Especially if it is included in your room.
The breakfast is always good at all the Brøchner Hotels. Organic, fresh and beautiful, and loved by all ages. It is also important for the hotels that the restaurants connected to them holds a high standard, and that the quality and taste of the Scandinavian kitchen is preserved.
I love the unique look of Hotel Ottilia. Especially the round windows dressed to chill in (these are not in every room, so ask for them if you like). The location is a bit far from the main shopping area of Copenhagen, and the restaurants. But for those of us who like a stroll, it is close to the beautiful Fredriksberg Garden, which is definitely worth a visit, and also just a wonderful walk from my favorite restaurant in town, Mielcke & Hurtigkarl.
