Launois Père & Fils, 2002

Launois is a Special Club Champagne, which means that is has a guarantee of excellence. It is a Grand Cru Brut and Blanc deBlancs made with the chardonnay grape. But the  most important thing about this Champagne is that it tastes wonderful! It was stored for 11 years when I drank it, but it already had the “old” touch of taste, full-bodied and with a darker color than regular Champagne usually has.

As mentioned before, Champagne goes well with a lot of various food and dishes, and this one could even handle a french style tartar with a lot of strong taste in it. It also goes well with asian dishes and sushi!
