Thinking that all Nebbiolo wine is grown within a short distance between Barolo and Barbaresco, I was surprised to learn about the Campo Delle Piane Boca. This wine is grown further north, but the taste was still familiar, perhaps more similar to the Barbaresco. The1985 that we tried had a sharp, fresh and fruity taste. It was very balanced and it drinks very well now. This was a very exciting and good bottle.
