The Giri Residence in San Juan is one of the finest Hotels I have ever stayed in, and I bet it is the best hotel in Ibiza. The size, the rooms, the location and the service are combined the definition of the perfect hotel, for me.
I had dreamt about going to Ibiza for years when I finally got the chance to spend five days at this island. I have to admit that Ibiza didn’t quite fit the part as my dream destination, but the hotel we stayed at, most certainly did. The Giri Residence is run by a Danish couple who knows how to treat their guests and decorate a design and botique hotel to my, and probably a lot of others, liking. The combination of Scandinavian, Ibizan and a hint of Moroccan-Riad inspired design was a perfect match, and from the minute I got there, I didn’t ever want to leave. 
That feeling may have been a result of that we occupied the largest suite on the hotel, which includes a rooftop terrace. Enjoying a bottle of Cava here while looking at the bright, orange sunset was just incredible. The terrace also had sunbeads, and if you preferred, you could have both your breakfast, lunch and dinner served here. Another wonderful thing with this suite was the black tub placed in the bedroom. My kind of luxury!
The Girl Residence also has a restaurant with an excellent chef. He puts up a few dishes on his daily menu, but if you want something else, he’ll make it for you. And if you wish for something he doesn’t have, he’ll go shopping for it. My kinda guy!
In addition to the five beautiful rooms at this hotel, there is a small pool, a Balinese inspired garden and a small SPA area with a wonderful massage therapist. Everything you need for a few days in Paradise… The only thing I missed at this lovely boutique hotel was a real coffee machine and an outdoor shower. 
Luckily, just next door to The Giri Residence is The Giri Cafe, and the coffee here is absolutely fantastic. The Giri Cafe is run by the same owners as The Giri Residence. This is an organic restaurant and cafe who grows a lot of their own food onsite, and buy the rest local. Super fresh and super good. And lovely, chill interior both inside and outside. And the coffee here, is absolutely fantastic.
